With three different divisions of GSAN (academic, social, wellbeing) organizing wonderful events throughout the year, the total expenditure was around $25,000. Thanks to all our income sources, we had sufficient funds totally around $32,000 to bear all these expenses. Thanks to Simon, our VP Finance for efficiently handling this tedious job and putting up a summary of GSAN Finance 2018-19, the expenditure breakdown for each of the divisions and the administrative expenses.
Academic Expenses:
With a variety of amazing events and initiatives such as supporting journal clubs, workshops, and language classes, the Academic Team used 11% of total GSAN Expenses. 53% of academic expenses were used on Minds and Machines. Another 24% were used for 3 Minute Thesis.
Social Expenses:
Wellbeing Expenses:
Using less than 1% of total GSAN expenses this year, the Wellbeing Team was able to pull off several events and services to support our IPN Students! 48% of wellbeing expenses were put towards the Work Life Balance event and 52% were used for Active Listening Workshops.
Administrative Expenses:
Administrative costs comprised 2% of total expenses. 47% of this was spent on GSAN Meetings, 36% was used for Banking expenses, and 17% was used for this Website.
